Is FM26 tactically different from FM24?

I am not an experienced player. Looking at FM26, tactics seem to be more intuitive and easier to understand and build. But in FM24, if player roles were carefully selected, will that give the same outcome as in/out of possession approach in FM26? Is there a difference in how tactics are executed? Miles asked the community to unlearn FM24, do you guys see the need to? Thanks.
