Scientology & the Titanic

I was talking to one of my Drs about my interest in the maritime/aquatic & in the Titanic. He told me his daughter is a scientologist & as such was forbidden to go on a family Cruise to New York because the cruise liner would be travelling in the vicinity of the Titanic wreck site. It's not discussed much by the church but apparently L Ron Hubbard established the Sea Org, a fleet of Ocean liners containing important scientologists, because he felt Earth's oceans were full of Thetans (spirits of dead aliens) & staff would be required for hours on board to use the E-Meters to clean up these oceans.
