WWYD lip and tongue tie

My 8 week old has a lip and tongue tie. We’ve scheduled a release twice and canceled twice (first due to going through elimination diet and wanted to see if it would help his mood without the pain from the release interfering, second I chickened out.)

He has great weight gain, no pain while latching on breast (can be shallow at times, but doesn’t take in air as confirmed by LC), but will fuss and fight tremendously on bottles on occasion and doesn’t always have a great latch. He eats about 1.5oz, needs a break, wants more, ultimately eating anywhere between 2.5-3.5oz.

His sleep is TRASH. Constantly snoring himself awake, congested after feeds, only wants to sleep on us. It’s awful.

Would you release his ties? I’m stuck.
