How to Optimize for Headphone Usage

So in Tsushima you could easily switch the audio output to a headphone-optimized experience. However in Yotei's audio settings menu the output is greyed out and non-editable and "Determined automatically by system software". When you go to the system's audio settings the only options I've found for outputs are for the sound bar/HDMI device type and TV. Is there any way to "trick" the game/system to allow for headphone-specific audio?

Having said all that, I'm still able to connect and hear the game via Bluetooth using my non-gaming Bose QC headphones, which due to being a non-Sony BT product don't mesh 100% with the system, but I'd like to have the most optimized sound configuration because Tsushima with headphone-optimized sound with those same headphones was amazing.
