Need a HDMI/DisplayPort hard disconnect.
Hello,
tldr,
What I need: A HDMI/DisplayPort 1 to 1 female to male (i.e., HDMI female to HDMI Male, DP female to DP male (not HDMI to DP and DP to HDMI)) with a button to individually hard disconnect the HDMI cable without having to unplug and plug the cord back in.
What I don't need: Splitters of any kind (Matrix, powered unpowered), anything more then 1 to 1.
My computer has been having this issue for a while where it won't properly boot (both from full shutdown and re-boot) unless there is only 1 monitor connected (only one physically connected, doesn't matter of the power state of the monitors or if they even have power cables plugged in.) So I have been unplugging the 2 HDMI cords and 1 DP cord (I have 4 monitors in total) manually each and every time I need to power cycle my computer. But recently I've noticed that the ports on my graphics card have become a bit loose (to the point where my HDMI cord/port that goes to my tv will lose signal when touching or moving the cord at all near the back of my computer) and I've become concerned about the longevity of this approach in the long run.
As for "Fix the issue of your computer not booting when...." I've tried everything other then replacing hardware (updates(drivers, os(windows(fresh, old), Linux(Fresh)), bios's). I have a sneaking suspicions that the issues stems with my MOBO (Asus Prime z690M-Plus D4) as it has killed 4 sets of my corsair ddr4 3200 4x16 ram (praise lifetime warranty and RMA) and 2 Samsung 2tb 990 pro's (praise regular backups). I currently don't have the time to go through and replace piece by piece to root out the issue, nor the financial freedom to replace it all at once. So I am stuck with the "deal with it" phase of life.
Any suggestions/help would be apricated.
