Bleach dispenser = fabric softener dispenser?

Hello! I’ve been reading and learning so much!

I want to try Downy rinse and refresh as a citric acid rinse. I don’t have a fabric softener dispenser, but I do have a bleach dispenser in my top loader. I have never used the bleach dispenser. Does anyone know if it would release at the proper time for the Downy rinse and refresh? I’m having a hard time finding that in the manual. Thank you!
