Do you flush the hvac system after opening it?

I have an 05 wrangler that the heater core went out. While I’ve got the dash out it’s recommended to change the evaporator even though nothing is wrong with the one I have. Im going to do that as well as change the accumulator and orifice tube. How much oil should I add, and should I flush the system?
