Impossible to get an entry-level job

I'm 18 in UK and I've probably applied to about 80 entry level positions ranging from fast food, retail, assistant, sales and a few internships. I've only received 4 interviews in which i was either not selected or decided the job wouldn't work for me. I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue with getting entry level jobs.
