Imu – The Fallen Earth God and the Devil’s Vessel
During the Void Century, four gods shaped the balance of the world:
Joyboy — the Sun God Davy Jones — the Sea God Unknown — the Forest God Imu — the Earth God
Among them, Davy Jones was the first King of the World, as Rocks also mentioned.
These four gods were said to reincarnate through the ages to maintain balance in the world.
But Imu grew jealously of Joyboy’s light that inspired the world, and of Davy Jones’s power that ruled both land and sea as king.
In his search for greater strength, Imu ventured into the depths of the ancient world — where he encountered a dark, unseen being: the Devil, who opposed the Four Gods.
The Devil tempted Imu, offering him the secret of immortality — the power to rule forever and become the King of the World.
Blinded by greed, Imu accepted. The Devil then gave him the Book of Abyss, a cursed relic capable of turning divine power into darkness.
With this dark power, Imu turned against the other gods and defeated them, sealing their worlds during the Void Century. That’s why Joyboy was defeated, Davy sank into the sea, and the world fell under Imu’s control.
The Devil Fruits may also be connected to this — which could explain why the sea rejects those who eat them.
Over time, Imu absorbed the Devil’s will and used the Book of Abyss to maintain eternal rule.
Now, after 800 years, the reincarnations of the fallen gods are returning — the Sun, the Sea, and the Forest — to reignite the divine war that never truly ended.
And when the Dawn finally begins, the Devil will rise again through Imu — just as Kaguya once did through Madara in Naruto
