Courier / delivery guy, opened my front door to put the package inside the hallway table. Has this happened to you?
The guy knocked, I was upstairs, by the time I was halfway down the stairs, the bugger tried the door, it wasn’t quite fully ‘locked’ as you have to pull it with a little bit of force to get it to ‘click’. A family member had left the house earlier and must’ve not pulled it fully to.
So when it’s like that, it still requires a bit of force to open if you push hard on the door.
So that’s what this Yodel guy did. He was kind of halfway in putting the package inside the hallway table. He suddenly clocked me and visibly jumped and sheepishly smiled at buggered off.
So I was thinking to myself, what kind of a person does that, no answer from the door and 15 seconds later you feel it’s ok to try and open the door and even force it a little?
I was too stunned to say anything.
I don’t know what good it would do to report it to the company, just have to remind all family members to make sure the front door is fully locked properly, etc.
And as a PSA as well, I guess.
