Attraction Assistance Pass

I took my son with Autism to the park this week. Before we went I tried to find information about the Attraction Assistance Pass and I could not find much information. Here is how it works for those who need to use it in the future.

At the beginning of the day I took my son to guest services. I presented our passports and the report from his psychologist that contained his diagnosis. The staff were very confused by the report since they get a card in China. After lots of discussion that I could not understand, I was told that it would be accepted.

We were given the attraction assistance pass and we were told that we would not get another one if we lost it. We were also not allowed to purchase any express passes if we were using the accommodations. The card worked for my son, his sister, my husband, and myself (mom). We could only use the accommodations if my son was with us.

The accommodations were very simple to use. All the staff at the park recognised the pass and knew how it worked which was amazing. We go to universal in Singapore and half the park staff are clueless. The rules are simple:

  • If the posted wait time is less than 30 minutes, then we could go straight to the express pass line.
  • If it was more than 30 minutes, then our return time was written on the card by the attendant at the ride. We could not use the accommodations for another attraction while waiting
  • It worked on all rides and haunted houses (we went during Halloween). It did not work for shows.

I really appreciated that for short wait times we could just use the express line. Sometimes it was not faster than the regular line but it is less crowded and less overstimulating for my son.

The system was very easy to use! We had a great visit to Universal in Beijing. I hope this helps other people!
