Looking for advice: how do I keep my dick's natural scent intact?

Hey guys. Just an FYI: if you arent a fan of smelly dicks, maybe just skip this one entirely :) Thanks :)

...Anyways. I have phimosis. It's annoying, uncomfortable, and over all just really decreases my quality of life. I know I need to get circumcised, but... Well, for one, I'm worried about how it'll look after the procedure; and I'm also ashamed to go to the doctor because... Well, to be frank, - I dont want them to have to deal with whatever hygiene issues may or may not have gotten slightly out of hand with the progression of my phimosis.

But on top of all of that... At the risk of being honest I'll say, I actually *like* how my dick smells. And I mean I *really* love it. I think it's very much a part of who I am; and it's never bothered anyone ever, - in fact, I can only recall positive experiences, always bonding with others who have similar tastes (yes, all of them've been men).

So, my question to you all is this: have any of you found any ways to *both* have the circumcision *and* also to keep the natural smell of the most intimate part of your body more or less the same?

I should add that it is my understanding that this may not be possible to achieve. This worries me, and - honestly, - it's been keeping me from getting the cut just as much as all the other reasons combined. It's *that* important to me.
And yeah, I know not everyone is going to be on board with me on this one, - but, - like I said, - I know for a fact that I'm not out of my mind and that there's a whole community of people who are into the same freaky stuff that I'm into :P
