Engineer 3

Hi, I don't know if this post is appreciated here but I'd rather post it here than on some other subs..

The engineer 3 assignment is not tracking for me at all. I've completed the first challenge but the second one seems impossible? I'm using the MAS and only firing at painted ground vehicles but no dmg is being recorded :( is there a known fix for this?
