People getting sick due to pollution

I read in a post that about 75% of Delhi’s households are having at least one member sick due, mostly cough, fever. Is it true? If it is I hope you all are doing fine. Though I hope this is just a fake news.

Also, when I wear a mask nowadays when stepping out, I get these weird looks from people. I am new to Delhi and don’t understand. Why are people surprised to see me wearing an N95 in 300+ AQI?
