Is regular kicksin better with Mosaic or Stormlash?

I decided to make a Phoenix Strike sin and found out that it isn't really for me - first because I like to take my time, look at loot and whatnot and I found having to keep up all the charges anxiety inducing (especially having to get exactly 2 phoenix strike charges), and second because it's literally been crashing my computer (I crashed 4 times trying to do hell forge alone).

So my question is - would I have success if I just took similar gear and morphed into a Tiger Strike + Dragon Talon/Dragon Tail sin? I figure that if I'm only using one charged skill, then I won't feel pressured to keep up all my charges all the time since it's not that hard to get them up again (+ maybe some cobra strike).

Obviously if we compare to Phoenix Strike mosaic it will be significantly weaker, but my question is, compared to an otherwise normal Kicksin, is this build better than just using a crushing blow weapon and a shield? Theoretically it gives me some AOE application with Dragon Tail but I don't know if in practice that works out, and I wanted to see if anyone had thoughts before I respecced.

The idea would be a build that can do most content, including potentially ubers down the line. I have reasonable gear but no enigma.
