Mindful Throwback: Unsupervised Childhoods
Prove me wrong, but every generation’s childhood could be summarized by one word: unsupervised.
Before constant check-ins and notifications, we had long afternoons with nothing but imagination, dirt, and time. We learned trust by testing limits, built confidence through scraped knees, and found stillness in boredom.
Maybe that’s why so many of us crave quiet now — we grew up in it.
What’s one moment from your unsupervised childhood that still makes you smile (or shake your head)?
