game won't load!

hello! i am a new player to love and deepspace. the game looked interesting and i attempted to download it on my ipad! (7th generation, ios 18, up to date on any software updates, lots of storage). i downloaded the game, but i'm trapped in the infold loading screen. i've tried to uninstall and re-install the game, and that didn't work. it's surprising because i run games like genshin impact smoothly, and again i still have a lot of storage on that ipad as i use it for mobile games considering my phone can't handle it well. is this an issue with my ipad? please help as i was super eager to start the game.
