Is there a term for this type of dynamic?

NSFW

I want to preface this by saying I’m fully aware that there are no rules in D/s and no one has to fit in any particular “bucket” – but just for the sake of conversation and to help find people like us, I’m curious…

I’m a dom to my wife in a “mostly bedroom” dynamic centered around her focusing on keeping me sexually satisfied, and also her following certain rules with punishments if disobeyed. She also really enjoys impact play, which I deliver, so she’s definitely getting something out of the dynamic beyond just the satisfaction of pleasing me.

Otherwise we lead a pretty normal married couple life. She’s not really submissive in any way outside of the bedroom.

I like to think of our dynamic in terms of an objectification kink. I think of her as property that I own. That her body is mine to do with as I please. Most of our rules are based around that expectation. But otherwise, we’re just a couple going about life in a fairly vanilla way.

When we use honorifics, she calls me “Sir” and I call her “bunny”. We also both refer to me as “Master”, but that’s more a descriptive term - in the moment, it’s “Sir”. But in terms of my ROLE, I mainly think of me as an Owner.

I originally wanted to call her “pet” because I think of her role as being similar to one. Not that she’s like an animal at all – but that I love her and take care of her, but I also OWN her and she’s expected to be obedient.

She didn’t like that “pet” sort of put her in the same category as our actual pets (which I respect) – but she liked the name “bunny”, which is still a type of pet, so we’re both happy.

But in terms of common dynamic pairings, what would you call us?

“Master / slave” is wrong. That implies a much greater power exchange than we have.

“Owner / pet” is close, but implies “pet play”, which isn’t at all our thing.

“DD/lg” is completely wrong, but I just mention it as another common dynamic pairing.

The best I can come up with is “Owner / property”, which makes perfect sense in my mind, but I don’t know what others would think if I were to just throw that pairing out there.

So, is there an accepted name for this type of dynamic? And does anyone reading this have a similar one? What do you call it?
