finally exmuslim but second guessing

when i finally admitted to myself about being a nonbeliuever- bad stuff started happening to me and my loved ones. I do believe In God and his holyness but not any religion itself, is it a bad judgemnet im secodn guessing maybe its God trying to warn me but idk. please any advice thank you
