Meet Hamil, a sweet and smart 2-year-old Belgian Malinois/Staffordshire Mix (60lbs) located at Emerald City Pet Rescue in Seattle. He has been at the shelter since he was a puppy and is long overdue for a real home.

Why You'll Love Hamil:
*Affectionate King: He is a complete love bug whose signature greeting is an instant roll-over and happy, springy jumps! He lives for his humans.
*Smart & Trainable: Hamil knows "sit," "down," "stay," and "drop."
*Dog Friendly: He gets along well with other dogs.
Urgent Need: He needs a loving family that can finally get him out of the shelter environment.

Hamil's Ideal Home:
*Active & Experienced: Hamil has high energy and would thrive with active people who have experience with high-drive breeds.
*Patience Needed: He needs patient guidance with house-training, as he has spent most of his life in a kennel (but is expected to learn quickly!).
*No Small Children or Cats: He is scared of cats and would do best in a home without small children.
