Pulling out an earphone pauses media, how to change it?

Can i somehow turn off this function on windows? It's so annoying when someone is speaking to me, i pull out one earphone and whatever I'm watching or listening to pauses. It happens with all 3 different earphone models I use so I'd appreciate it if the solution was windows based. Thanks
