Is it normal for Manic Panic After Midnight to bleed and fade so fast?

Hey! So I’ve been using Manic Panic After Midnight to dye my hair for about two months now, and I’ve noticed that it bleeds a lot. Like, when I do the first wash after dyeing, it stains my skin, my bedsheets, and even my pillowcases. Is that normal, or am I doing something wrong?

Also, the color seems to fade a lot after about 2 weeks — is that just how Manic Panic works?
