Am I on the right track?
Hey M16 here .
So last year my weight was 60 kg (176 cm), but because of school stress I started eating a lot of fast food and quit the gym. As a result, I gained 8.5 kg. Now that school has become less time-consuming, I want to get back down to at least 62 kg. Oh, and I just got braces, which makes it a bit hard to eat anything solid.
My Plan (I already made it through the first week 💪):
Stats :
BMR (conservative): 1600 kcal Daily steps: ≈ 100 kcal Cardio at the gym every day : ≈ 200 kcal
I also have 3 workout days at the gym every week (more isn’t possible because I don’t have that much free time — but I still do cardio there every day).
Diet :
1000 g of Skyr yogurt — 80 g protein, 800 kcal
100 g of lean turkey breast slices — 20 g protein, 100 kcal
Tomato soup — 180 kcal
A lot of creamed spinach — 130 kcal
I have a daily deficit of around 700 kcal, which means it would take me roughly 10–11 weeks to lose 6.5 kg. But I read somewhere about adaptive thermogenesis, which could reduce the deficit by up to 35%, so in the worst case it might take me around 16 weeks.
