American sound pedal

So i have this pedal, and while I quite like it overall, as can do quite a lots of different sounds with it, but when I compare it to my other pedals which are boss, I find that the American sound pedal doesn't respond to changing pickups position. As if the sound dialled in, is the same regardless if I use my neck or bridge or // or series.

Is your behaving the same?
