So, what's r/etana?

Hey everyone, my name is Will, and I'm the creator of r/etana :)

I created this subreddit was created for two purposes.

The first is for it to be a hub for drawing-based AI generation - a place for anyone who uses sketches or drawings to guide AI - whether you're using Etana, or any other tools. I want it to be a community to share creations, swap techniques and explore drawing-based AI together.
I think it is also important that a community like this exists to dispel the idea that "AI art isn't real art", as drawing-based generation makes it obvious that AI is a tool that helps users make their visions a reality.

The second purpose of the subreddit is for it to be the 'home' for Etana, a drawing-based AI tool I've been working on for the past few months.
I created it as my drawing-based image generation workflow was super slow (sketch an image, upload it, write out a long prompt to preserve structure, then finally generate...).
Etana fixes this by embedding a canvas inside an image generation platform, letting you quickly generate drawing-based images with many different models and tools in one place.
