Clinical Hypnotherapy Courses Australia

Hi there,

I work professionally as a mental health nurse, and I’m interested in studying clinical hypnotherapy. My goal is to actually do research in this area, and how it can be used along side traditional psychotherapy/psychiatric treatments.

I’m stuck between these three courses though:

Institute of Applied Psychology - Diploma of

• Government recognised Diploma
• Professional website and format of their modules (did a free one as a trial)

• $10k

Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy - Level 2, Diploma In Integrative Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy course

• $5k

• Website appears less professional

• Has some lecturers in the city I live, would be nice for networking/mentoring

Australian Hypnotherapy College - Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy

• Includes professional membership fees for first year and 6 months supervision after course +$8k

Does anyone have experience with any of these courses? Or can recommend any in Australia that can be done externally and must be accredited with peak bodies.
