MAJOR SUCCESS STORY

My girlfriend (23) just got a job after being an international student here in the US. THIS IS A MAJOR THING.
She just got the offer letter a day ago and just have been calling our families to tell them all the good news.
I am so proud and so happy for her. She will be completing her course soon and already has a job offer, prolly the only one from her course of around a 100 students to get it.
Having no work experience just internships, amazing GPA, and being on every company's ass all the time she has managed to bag this job.

Me however still looking for one, am super relived by this, I have another sem lined up for my graduation and would need to find a job by then, but looking at her it has only made me more motivated to find one.

I know things will turn out great for everyone, all hard work pays off, grind eventually shows and nothing can make me not believe this. I wish to be as dedicated as her and it has only made me a better human.

I know the job market sucks, 100's of application not even passing the AI screen test, what really matters is can you go beyond just applying.

She used to send out cold emails, always on call with her career counselor, getting people to just start talking.
Networking is the biggest thing at the moment.

To all just like me, who keep applying its just a phase, JUST A PHASE.

One yes is all it takes, one yes changes all your life, and I am so happy. Imagine going to sleep without the stress of unemployment.
I wish for nothing but the best for you all, just gotta keep grinding.

My heart is so full, I wanted to share this with all of you, this subreddit has taught me a lot of things and just wanted a positive post in the chat. BIG W. BIG DREAMS. ALL IN DUE TIME.
