Acrylic samples with xTool D1 Pro 2.0
Hello,
I bought a xTool D1 Pro 2.0 laser engraver while they were heavily discounted before they were discontinued.
It came with a bunch of sample material. One of the items was what looks like a transparent acrylic circle (and it has two holes at the top, as if to string something through to hang it).
As far as I know and have read online, this model has a 5W blue laser that doesn't cut transparent acrylic.
Does anyone know why this was included in the sample material? Would the 5W blue laser be able to etch something in the transparent acrylic, or maybe cut it?
I was tempted to just try it and see what happens, but I'm fairly new to this and afraid to do any type of damage, so I thought I'd ask first. Thanks!
