Welcome! What is r/TheDetox?

I made this subreddit with the goal of creating an alternative to the banned left-wing subreddit, r/TheDeprogram. I also intend on creating a movement of activists rather than simply relying on internet trolls to further our cause.

WHO IS THIS SUBREDDIT FOR?

This subreddit is for anti-capitalists alike; Marxists, anarchists, socialists, even progressives.

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?

1. Become a cadre, help moderate the community, educate people on the broader anti-capitalist movement, and encourage activism.
2. Don’t just blindly follow one theory; members are encouraged, but not required to, engage in their own research, thinking and writing.
3. Fight on and off the computer: don’t just protest here on Reddit, get out into the real world and organize!

That said, enjoy r/TheDetox!
