Windows 11 defender stops mid scan

Hi,

So I recently upgraded to windows 11 (build number 22621.6060). Only when I try to run a virus scan using windows defender it seems to get stuck somewhere in the middle of the scan. It won't progress any further and the progress bar becomes empty again. Has anybody else come across this problem?
