Penis dry from inflation

I gave inflation a try for a month or two back in January and had to quit because it dried out my glans and inner skin and made it feel like it did pre circumcision. I’m not fully DK or honestly even much at all I think but it’s so much better than before and I never want to go back to having that little sensation. Anybody else experience this with inflation? What can I do to combat this?
