Severe anxiety because of body dysmorphia. It has consumed my entire life.
I don't know where to post this without sounding like a crazy person, but I'm terrified of people looking at me or acknowledging my existence. It wasn't always this bad. It got worse and worse overtime until it consumed my entire life.
At first it was just a dread of having my picture taken. I was still able to talk to people and live a normal life. But then I began to develop this obsessive and self-conscious fixation on my appearance which got increasingly obnoxious and time-consuming over time. It instilled this huge sense of fear in me about being around other people.
I've reached a point where simply talking to people makes me extremely anxious. I struggle to make eye contact now due to intrusive thoughts about my flaws being noticed by others. My life will never be the same again.
