Help a non-gamer out

Hey guys! I need your expertise. My girlfriend is really into Guitar Hero, and I want to get her the game for her birthday. However, as she is a PC gamer, I understand she needs to get a guitar compatible with Clone Hero? I clearly have no clue what I’m doing, so I’d really appreciate if someone could recommend me a guitar to get her that works well on a PC. Thank you!
