Steel Ship suggestions... Barbiano

Hello all. I've finally earned 31K of steel to start purchasing steel ships. I really want the Barbiano. Question... Is the Barbiano just a novelty ship? Does anyone have regrets owning the Barbiano? Should I grab it, or skip it for a better steel ship? Thank you in advance!
