Dirt. That’s all Simon’s life revolved around. The soil that he tilled to keep his family’s farm running with his brothers and sisters. The substance always caking his hands and feet. And it was what society viewed him as. Still, this gentle giant didn’t mind. He did good work, keeping his family, and others fed with their crops.

Still, he dreamed of something more as he laid in his straw bed at night. He dreamed of becoming a court wizard. Of learning magic! It was a lifetime away, but he craved it still.

When entering his Kingdom’s capital the following week, selling the produce that his family didn’t need, crowds began to clamor the streets, cheering or staring in awe. Simon didn’t exactly know much about many things, not even having much of an education. So, he turned to look at the center of attention.

(I’m going to leave out some details of your character, so you can fill him out yourself!)

The Elven King had traveled far to make a peace treaty with his neighboring kingdom of humans. They were never enemies, but this was a renewal for trade and commerce between the two kingdoms. He rode atop his palanquin, carried by magically summoned spirits while his guardians marched alongside in their armor. They were not expecting him to call for them to halt.

The king stood, gaze fixed on one figure as the crowd parted. A handsome figure in the crowd, 6’3, with broad shoulders and a stocky frame that was both soft from simply being large, yet having some tone from his line of work. Sun-kissed skin, with emerald green eyes, a button nose, and luscious locks of brown hair in a mop.

Simon anxiously stared back at the imposing figure, until he was motioned forward by a hand. His life was about to change.

And that’s where we’ll start! An elven king, taken in by how attractive he finds Simon, and prepares to offer anything to… “keep” him. Like holding his chin and appraising Simon as he asks for his desires.
