How do I make sure my daughters have a healthy relationship with their dad if we’re divorced
His work keeps him past their bedtime most days, sometimes he gets to see the baby before going to work but now we’re separated that morning time is going. So basically he only committed to have them one day a week including the older girl sleeping over. They’re 7F and 6months F The baby is combo fed so he can have her for a few hours but not a full day or overnight unless I decide to wean her (which I don’t plan to do before she’s 1, preferably later ) He’s great with them when it’s convenient but hands them over when it’s not. Not sure how solo parenting will affect their relationship.
We (him and I) are seeing a child psychologist to help us with the transition for 7F.
My oldest adores him . The baby loves him but hasn’t accepted bottle from him for some reason. But he can put her to bed / nap no problem.
My heart breaks when I think my baby might not have her dad as around as she needs him to be.
I need to know exactly what to do to make sure they grow up without issues around their dad. I am willing to do ANYTHING.
