Did the “corpse” in season 1 have the birthmark?

I’ve always wondered this because after Joyce asked to see the birthmark on Will’s fake body, she storms out. I’ve never known whether it actually had the birthmark or not because I feel like if it didn’t, she would’ve told people and used it as evidence to get them to believe her. What’s your take on that?
