AITA for not wanting to hide my Halloween costume?
I know most of you guys are younger than me, but I think you are smart enough to judge my Big Girl situation.
So yesterday, I (23m f) was wearing my firefighter pajamas to daycare as a Halloween costume. I was very proud to show it to everyone, because it's red and also because now they know I get to wear a cool costume to bed.
When my mommy (old, not wearing a costume) picked me up, I refused to put my coat on, because it would hide my pajamas!! I said "no coat", which is a full sentence I was very proud of. She insisted, so since actions speak louder than words, I threw my coat and ran to the door. But she kept saying it's raining! Who cares? Rain is like the shower and we do that NAKED.
Anyway, my teacher (also old but dressed as a witch) was also leaving and she told me she likes to wear a coat when it rains. Since she is very nice and gave me candy at snack time, I put my coat on just like her. But not the hood! You see, I have a very cute hat with ears and eyes on it. Mommy didn't seem mind (she said it was good enough).
When we came home, she said something to daddy (tall, so I guess the oldest, also no costume) about terrible two or whatever.
So, AITA?
