HOT TAKE: Turrets are useless against the bugs

I just finished a mission against the bugs using the autocannon sentry, and I’m honestly done with it. I usually never use sentries because of this exact issue: they’re absolutely worthless. After a long break, I decided to give the stratagem another shot and, sure enough, I was immediately reminded why I always ditch it. The damn thing gets spawn-killed every time.

What’s the point of having a “support” or “suppressive fire” tool if it can’t even do its job? The only way to make it remotely useful is to babysit it the entire mission and that’s just not fun.
