Craigslist Venmo motorcycle sale

I’m selling a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 on Craigslist for $1500. I priced it to sell.

Someone contacted me today on Craigslist after it was posted for only a day. The buyer is saying he wants it so badly he’ll send me the money tonight on Venmo, and then his brother and a friend will come pick it up tomorrow. He wants me to hand over the title, even though it wasn’t signed in front of a notary. I live in Ohio, and I believe the law here is that the seller must sign in front of a notary in order for the sale to be valid.

Believe it or not, I’ve never sold a vehicle in my life, I’ve always traded in to the dealership.

Is there some way this ends bad for me?
