special interests

hey everyone! i was diagnosed a few months ago with adhd but i observe autistic traits often enough in myself to wonder if i have both. i have been interested in asd (seems like a special interest to me) for about 12 years now. i know a lot on the topic but when it comes to myself i feel like i know nothing. i identified a big struggle with interests. autism is a very intense interest, horses well (since i was a child), the english language and the environment as well. moreover i really enjoy reading, but i notice that except for asd i have a hard time diving into my other areas of interest. for asd it ckmes to me really smoothly, whereas for the others i suggest to myself to take time to do researches or do exercises and i almost never do. so i wonder if anybody relates to that. i also wonder if it could be pda, as demand avoidance can come from oneself, (for environment, reading, horses and english) or the newness (for the environment topic as i am really commited but have never study anything on it) or the interest decreasing (for english and horses). if you do relate and have advice to give, i would really apreciate that. thank you for reading!
