Matched with someone on tinder and I’m not sure where it’s heading.

For context we’re both 25 and have been texting for close to a month now. I asked him two weeks ago if he wanted to hang out over the upcoming weekend (he lives 50 minutes away) and he ended up being busy until evening time and I didn’t want to drive out at night. He said we can try for this weekend but he wasn’t sure if he had overtime or not. Flash forward to this week, I asked him if he was free and he said that he has “a lot of things to do this weekend since he didn’t have free time last week.” Told him we could try for next week and he replied with it depends on his work schedule (he works four days and then is off for four days and I only have weekends off) but proceeded to say he does want to see me.

I asked him today what his plans were and he said he was hanging out with a friend 🙃

We text every day but it’s hard to keep up since our schedules are different. Most of our conversations end up being about how our days were/ are going which is getting boring to me. I do want to give him a chance and see him in person before making any final decisions but I wanted opinions on how long till the first hang out is too long. We’ve both said we’re looking for a long term relationship but I feel like I’m being used for attention at this point lol
