A gift that will last years? It needs to be special.
I'm moving across the country in April next year, and it's starting to hit me how much I'm going to miss my family. They're such loving, beautiful people, and I know they're dreading my leaving just as much. This year, I want to give them something special - something we can all share or each have a version of — that represents our connection beyond just love. Something they can hold close or carry with them as a reminder that I'm always with them. It's very important to me that we are always and forever connected. They're my everything.
It's my dad, mom, step-dad, big sister, two little sisters, brother-in-law, and nephew — my perfect little circle — and I really want this to matter. I don't need to spend a ton of money, but I want it to mean something. My mom doesn't really wear jewelry, and everyone's different ages, so I'm having trouble thinking of what fits. I'd love some thoughtful ideas for something connecting and meaningful that we can all share before I move.
If you have a moment and an idea, please share — I'd really appreciate it.
