Am I wrong for this?

NSFWQuestion

Long story short, one of my regulars comes in and he was dancing on another girl that I assume I was cool with. Now I didn’t initially go over and say hi when I first saw him for obvious reasons, just kind of acknowledged him and moved on to another interested person.

When I finish making my rounds, he makes eye contact with me and waves me over while she’s bent over dancing . Naturally she doesn’t see him wave me over but by time I get over there, she’s upright again. He had a stack on the counter and I took it and tipped her. His hands were full with his vape and his glass and I know he would be even more distracted and I wanted to keep his attention on her for as long as possible.

I knew her from a previous club, although we are friendly, I’ve never hustled with her. So after I literally decorated her from head to toe in tips. I chop it up with him a bit, maybe took a shot(can’t remember) and by time she gathers her money off the floor, I was gone. My name gets called for stage and both and her come over to tip me. She gave me a few $ like very nonchalant and he did his thing as usual. Now when she goes to dance he gives each of us a stack to tip her. And I gave her all, made it look sexy and fun but nothing too crazy.

The next night he comes in, she sees me and him at the bar and I go to wave her over and he says “Please don’t.” Even before he made a sound she was quick to turn on her heel and go to farthest end of the bar. So I look back at him confused thinking they hit it off the other night, he says we did until I showed up. I immediately said “you waved me over there, did you not tell her?” He said “it doesn’t matter, you’re MY friend and I’m spending MY money.” I told him “being that she’s new you could’ve just said something before hand.” He then says, “if you guys are cool, why would that upset her at all.” I left it as that but I have noticed a cold feeling from her but she’s quiet like me so I may be overthinking it.

But should I clear the air, leave it alone or just never do that again?
