Linux for newbie, mb kubuntu?

I decided to upgrade to linux from win11. I would like to use KDE, because I sometimes went to r/unixporn and these screenshots make my heart flutter. But first of all, I hadn't switched before because of some graphic design and gaming software. With the advent of proton from steam, the problem with games has completely disappeared. But there are still issues with design software. For example photoshop? illustrator? And 3D painter. I started looking for articles about Linux again, and in general, how do you like kubuntu for a beginner?
