Why do people say Charli xcx “represents gen z” or she gives “gen z” vibes despite her being very millennial?

Do people not know that she sings in “Fancy” “Boom clap” or “I love it”? She was the epitome of 2010s millennial. I love brat and her new stuff but in my opinion there’s no way it’s giving gen z vibes. Brat is such a millennial or maybe zillennial at most vibe album. Idk why people think she’s like 23

Do the new fans just think she’s a new artist who’s trying to revive the 2000s/2010s music style? The reason her music sounds 2000s/2010s was because her music WAS apart of that era
