Perspective on when wife decides to engage in LS again, please

Hello all! About 2 years ago, things with my wife’s favorite and most comfortable lover took a turn south. Things became distant for various reasons, none of which involved us, and things cooled off. After a summer of trying to connect with a new lover, she just kind of decided to step away from the LS all together.

And then a couple weeks ago, she messaged her favorite lover to check in and see how he was doing. That text became texts sharing a few pics from prior dates.
