When will I start to feel like a woman?

Hi, 30 MtF.

I started transitioning in 2022. I socially came out, started taking hormones, and I got my name changed legally everywhere that year. In 2023 I got my SRS and FFS. I've had the same gender identity therapist since I started but I've just kinda been asking him the same question over and over and I don't feel like I'm getting much progress on the mental transition part...

When will I start to feel like a woman? My brain is absolutely brutal to me and constantly makes me feel like a clown wearing makeup and just pretending to be a woman. I'll use terms like "real women" when referring to cis women in my head, but then I translate it to "cis women" properly when I speak. I'll refer to myself and other trans people as their designated pronouns when speaking to them, but in my head I identify what their assigned gender at birth was and then I actively have to translate. My dreams still have me as a guy thing because I'm actively arguing with my brain to try and be a woman.

Being trans just kinda hit me randomly too. I was born male and I kinda said "alright, I guess that sucks but what can I do when I rolled my dice wrong?" I absolutely hated masculine parts of my body ever since I was little but I grew up in a tumultuous environment where I just needed to focus on survival rather than figure myself out emotionally.

There's nothing more than I want to be a woman. I naturally act like one because it just feels right. Hearing "She/Her" when referred to me feels right and warm while everything else just hurts and feels wrong. Being treated like a woman feels good (aside from blatant sexism which is annoying, but in a different way that I'm sure many other transwomen feel confused about). But I just have many days where I am actively against myself wondering "Hey, when am I going to wake up and be a woman?" because sitting here and really trying to convince myself of it is what I've just said... I have to sit here and convince myself, and it's like there's no convincing myself. I can't trick myself like that.

My partners identify what seems to be deep rooted transphobia, but I actively love people being able to express themselves for who they are regardless of identity and sexual preferences. Does anyone have any tips on how to change my line of thinking?
