Entertainment Law -NYC/LA only?
I'm a law school applicant who's interested in entertainment law, and let's just say my stats are not the type that could get me into a top law school for Biglaw/Entertainment Law in NYC/LA for regular JD admissions. I was wondering if being in these locations is absolutely essential for breaking into entertainment law, and if not being in these locations automatically disqualifies an applicant during the internship hiring phase. I have experience working in the entertainment industry remotely (not a legal position though), but am not sure if that'll be overlooked because I'm not specifically in these locations. Any kind advice is appreciated.
