Hi guys! Now i've been annoying ya'll with my drawings and sketches for a while now, tho i usually tried to at least make them somewhat with good quality an at least consider anatomy in them. THESE, on the other hand, were made purely out of boredom during class, tho even so i'd still consider them as a "blueprint" for the more serious designs i WILL be doing.

Here are also some little details i wanted to specify for every design for the Gods, Heroes and Monsters presented.

-Athena: I already DID post a design for the Chast Goddess, tho I felt like it needed some rewoking to it. I wanted to find a design that showd both the "Wisdom" and the "War" side of Athena, and struggling to find just 1 for both, i made 2 separate ones. I'd imagine the first as her "casual" fit, like it's the one she wears when on Olympus, and the second being her Armor she actually uses for battle.

-Ares: With this i tried to picture an "Armorless" Ares, like THIS is what he wears when he's not out in the field slaughtering and bathing in blood. I made him the V-Shape encarnated here 'cause i imagine him as the "More built" of the gods, not the "biggest" in size but at least the more ripped, like the Hulk in the Avengers, not the biggest but surely the bulkiest.

-Artemis and Apollo: I just couldn't make one without the other, i always loved the Olympic Twins in the Myths and loved designing them aswell. For Artemis i honestly kinda struggled finding a suitable hairstyle, but in the end i managed to find one mixing the braided tail of the third with the "front" of the first. A tiny detail that may not be noticable at first is that her "toga" is slightly tore and damaged at the sleeves, to show her being more wild and prefering staying out hunting rather than up on Olympus. Also yes, the stag skin is actually suppose to be Acteon :D. For her brother, being the God of Arts, i took it as an excuse to give his vest more details, patterns and shapes, all super colorfull once i decide to actually make a finished colored design, with also gold accents wherever possible. The tiny "Phoebos" part is suppose to show that he littetally glows btw.

-Dionysus and Hephaestus: Honestly i had no real reason to draw them as a pair, but i think it somehow works nontheless. For Dionysus i tried to mix his older interpretation with the newer to create a somehow "quintesential" version to rapresent all: he has both Horns and the Leopard Vest, he is beardless but still visibly a grown adult and not just a teen. For Hephaestus i feel like he still needs some new details, he feels unfinished even to me. What i can say is that I tried to show his "uglyness" by not actually making him too deformed, but simply giving him a pretty visible hump, along with reversed-feet (like in some verions of the Myths) and a bump over his eye that should represent where he fell once Hera "Dream On"ed him out of Olympus.

-Odysseus: This is probably one of my favorites i've done so far. I tried to show enogh of a distinction between his first "pre-Odyssey" outfit and his later "post-Odyssey" one by not really changing the clothes but rather the face. Other than giving him slight wrinkles i also made him let his hair untamed, like if with all the stress he went throw he completly zoned out the need to look slightly decent. For the "Malakes" part, it's just the plural of "Malaka", "Moron"/"Idiot" in Greek, like if he's insulting the suiters he's about to headshot. Yes i'm currently playing Assasin's Creed Odyssey btw. For the "In Disguise Hat" i made it similiar to some hats Odysseus DOES infact wear in phase art, tho it never looked fitting for the King of Ithica, tho I still managed to put this iconic piece of clothing by making it part of his disguise once he comes back home to slaughter the suiters.

-Poseidon: The Earth Shaker's design is pretty straight foreward which i actually really like. I imagine him as (along with Ares) the Olympian who wears less, since he'd be more used to swimming and thus have as little clothing as possibe to slow him down; and another tiny detail is that his laureel wreth instead of being of golden leaves like usually it's actually of algea, to further tie him to the ocean. The real part of him i'm more proud of is his Trident, since i tried to make it "unique" enogh to not be too boring of a design an at the same time original enogh to not be a copy of others. For the Water-Mecha, i obviously took the idea from God of War 3, i just couldn't not put this series somewhere in my designs.

-Cronus: I originally intended Cronus as a major antagonist for the project, tho due to me finding out that he's the King of Elisium and that Zeus actually made peace with him in some sources, i think i'll re-do this design of him somehow. For his Diamond Sickle i took strong inspiration from the Harpe, an ancient Sickle actually used IRL back then. His "Back on Earth" sketch is littetally just with the same outfit as the main one, it just shows a cloak that's already there, just covering his face. For the "Prisoner of Tartarus" one, i tried to make his hair more wild and uncared for, like i did with Odysseus, here taking a lot of inspiration from the Roman Paintings of Saturn eating his kids, where he is showd with similiar wild hair.

-Zeus: Zeus is pretty generic honestly, but i don't think that's necesarely a bad thing, it's still pretty clear at first glance who he is suppose to be. Useless to say, the Lightning-Crown is obviously taken straight out of Hades (the rogue-like game, i'm addicted to it). For his lightning bolts, i wanted to make a mix of 2 Myths. Since in one version his Lightnings are made by Hephaestus, and the other sais that it's one of the weapons made by the Ancient Cyclopes brothers of the Titans, i simply made Zeus have both. The "normal" lightnings he throws the majority of the time, the ones mortals would see during storms, are Hephaestus's work; his Divine/Olympic bolt, that he would have used agaist Cronus and Typhoeus, is the one made by the Cyclopes. Tiny detail, the hair ar suppose to be YES, soft like clouds an generalmente cloud-shaped, but ar suppoae to be black/dak brown hair instead of white.

-Hades: Hades has always been my favorite of the Gods, he was the first i ever designed and this redesign didn't really change much about him, just his hair an toned his outfit down a bit. I wanted to make Hades more similiar to a "King" than a God, making his clothes more detailed and clearly rich and expensive (since Hades is the God of the UNDERWORLD, everything under the surfice of the Earth, caves and mines included, which means he's also the God of Riches). For his Helm i wanted to make it more intimidating-looking, giving it horns because... yes; but also tiny wings, mostly 'cause of anotherone who has wore it. Tiny detail i feel has to be specified, Hades has wrinkles, but him being an unaging God, it's all just stress-wrinkles from ruling the Underworld nostop rather than aging.

-Hera: There's not really that much i can say of Hera. No for real I have nothing to say about her lol.

-Hermes: Hermes has always been one of my favorites in the Pantheon, so designing him was also a really great time. I tried to keep him relatively simple, just give him a toga with a Traveling cloak, a belt to keep his Short Sword (Xiphos), Winged Boots mostly enspired by God of War 3's (yep again) with the wings "coiling" around the boot and a helmet strongly representing an ancient Boetian Military helmet with tiny wings. Tiny detail, since in many depictions he's showd with a beard, but he's also one of the younger Olympians, i gave him a shaved beard.

-Herakles: Herakles was pretty simple, both in his pre-labors and post-labors outfits, my main "struggle" was with the Nemean Lion's head since i wanted it to look both intimidating enogh to be badass but at the same time tame enogh so that it would be clear that it was just the skin of a dead animal, so I kept the sharp fangs but made it's eyes closed (also i imagine the Nemean Lion as a saber-toothed lion, so with his canines way longer than normal lions). Also, i know that all he took from the Hydra was venom for his Arrows, but i think that giving him a scala quiver doesn't really change much the message, infact i think visually it shows basically the exact same.

-Perseus: Percy's actually the last i've done chronologically. I tried to show his evolution throw the different outfits, the first is litterally taken from actual ancinet greek Fishermen outfis i found in phases and mosaics, his "Gorgon Slayer" outfit is litterally the same outfit just with Hermes's boots and Hades's helm plus a cloak i'd like to imagine Andromeda gifted him after saving he butt from Cetus. The last one is really just some Royal vest i found searching online, not much else to add.

-Ladon: Usually for the monsters i like to go more wild, not just looking at Phase art but also putting my own spin to them, mostly caus unlike with gods and heroes, i'm a bit more excuses to take liberties with designing the beasts slain by them. For Ladon specifically i wanted to make him stand out from all the other Drakons of Greek Myth, but the spurc material doesn't really help much with that: he's either described as a 1 headed serpent (which would make him just like Python or the Colchian Dragon) or a multiheaded one (which would make him just the Hydra without the regeneration), so instead i focused more on the "Guardian of the Apple Tree" part of him, by making him the Tree itself. The tail becoming roots, the heads becoming branches, the scales mimicking wood, making it enspired by Upper Moon Hantengu's Kekijutsu (from Demon Slayer).

-Monsters of Myth: What i said earlier about having more liberty with the monsters applies here aswell. For the Minotaur i didn't change much, all I did was giving him a bigger maw following the shape of an actual bull's skull and giving him sharp teeth since he's a man eater (ps: my version of Asterius is Albino, since his father is always described as a white bull, he took from his dad). I still am not satisfied with the Siren, tho i do like the genral idea. I tried to fuse the actual Greek Bird-Woman Siren with the Medieval Fish-Woman Mermaid, making the tail more similiar to the Lamaten's (litterally part of the SIRENIA order). The Harpy is litterally just an Harpy Eagle with a human face slapped on it, the nose being the sharp beak. The Hydra is more of a morey heel rather than an actual snake, i gave it tiny arma just to make her even more unique and different from other the Drakons. There's little tp say about the Chimera, other than it's Goat head being an Ibex instead of a domestic goat and bing positioned frontal with the Lion's head rather than on the side. Scylla is littetally just the design i already did for her in the past, focusing more on the "cursed nymph transformed into a monster" part, and the dog heads being actually serpents that are dobberman-shaped; same with Cerberus being just the same design i did before.

Some MORE Sketches i did gor my project (made in class when bored, anatomy was NOT a concern for me)
